Welcome to our very busy club. The club caters to all styles of Country Music and actively supports and promotes our performers. We are well known in our district for our work in the community, raising funds for such groups as the Wauchope Hospital Ladies Auxilliary, Bundaleer Aged Care Facility, Westpac Rescue Helicopter and many other worthwhile causes.

Our members often volunteer to assist all sorts of local charities.

Of course, our main aim is to perform and enjoy country music.

Come join us whenever you can, you will be most welcome!

Our club meets on the second Sunday of each month at the

Star Hotel, Cameron St., Wauchope NSW

Business meeting starts at 10:30am

Followed by a sing-along at 12:30

Visitors are very welcome

JANUARY 2012 MEETING

From Denise Hollis:

We trust that every one had a very merry Christmas and wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. The Christmas party and sing-along in December was great, had a lovely lot of members and friends who all enjoyed the festivities. All in all, 2011 was not too bad, although we did have a lot of personal trials and tribulations. Our thoughts and prayers are with every one concerned. Ellis & Dale Aldridge’s daughter-in-law, Trish, passed away quite suddenly only a couple of days before Christmas , so our sincere condolences to all the family.

DECEMBER MEETING

At our general meeting held on the 11th, We decided to donate $200 to Ronald McDonald House. It was also decided that we would again hold a Junior Showcase at this year’s Roundup Weekend, so if you know any budding junior performers please get in touch with our president or secretary.

Of course, this meet was also our Club Christmas Party which was enjoyed immensely by everyone. The music was also top notch.

Our membership is steadily growing with one more joining us this month, a big welcome to Roy Sweeny.

NOVEMBER MEETING

An afternoon of good music was enjoyed by a smaller crowd than usual, ‘though we did have around 20 performers.

At our business meeting it was resolved to apply for a grant of around $5,000 to replace our aging pa system with something a bit lighter. This will assist those stalwarts who stay back to pack up at the end of each performance (thanks guys).
